Rocky Horror Anniversary Show Master of Ceremonies

Picture
DREW FROST - MASTER OF CEREMONIES: By day, Drew flies drones. By night, he channels his inner leading man, whether anyone asked for it or not. A performer, voice-over actor, and all-around master of organized chaos, he’s somehow convinced people to keep trusting him with microphones. The newest items on his hosting résumé include the New Mexico Entertainment Awards and the AAA Cabaret at The Box Performance Space. He runs entirely on humor, sarcasm, and saying “yes” to things he probably should’ve thought about first.

The Favorite Obsessions Shadowcast

FRANK-N-FURTER: SIMONE CAMPBELL (They/She): Despite being told by a former director they’d never play Frank on the big stage as a woman, Simone is thrilled to be proving him wrong and sharing their rendition of Frank N. Furter with you all! They’re incredibly grateful for the energy, community, LOVE, and just plain lunacy the Rocky Horror world brings, and invites you along for this sensual daydream with open arms. By the light of day, they’re a comedian/improv performer in-training at The Box, proud UNM alum, and loves the work they do with Project ECHO’s Community Peer Education Project. They get antsy after those long 9 months without Rocky though, so they’re thrilled to be donning fishnets and 6 inch heels to tantalize and seduce audience members once again this season!
JANET: SAMANTHA NAGEL: (She/Her) Samantha Nagel has dreamt of being in The Rocky Horror Picture Show ever since sneaking into her first show at 15 in the next town over from her small, conservative hometown. She discovered queer weirdos and wild, untamed things just like her! Now, she’s thrilled to not just dream it, but be it—playing Janet for the third year in a row. Sam hopes you’ll come to the hunting lodge for rich weirdos, come up to the lab, and see what’s on the slab. Read her writing at www.samanthanagel.com and follow her burlesque Instagram @vivienne.luxe.
BRAD (Matinees): BRYAN LAMBE (he/him): Bryan Lambe (Best Comic Host Nominee of 2024 New Mexico Entertainment Awards) is an openly queer performer who specializes in sleight of hand magic and side show entertainment. If you enjoy what you see, don't forget to follow him on Threads, Instagram, and YouTube to see more quality content.
BRAD (Late-Night Shows): JACOB CHAVEZ (he/him): Jacob Chavez graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2020, and received his MBA from the University of Oregon in 2023, which was where he began his acting career. Some of Jacob’s favorite theater roles include Dracula in Albuquerque Little Theatre’s Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, Eddie in The Rocky Horror Anniversary Show at The Guild Cinema, Antonio in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, Stevens in Dogfight, Harry in Musical Theatre Southwest’s production of Kinky Boots, and Everett in the debut production of Essential Etiquette, a role in which he originated. You can see him in Musical Theatre Southwest’s production of Bare.
RIFF RAFF: CALVIN NOVOTNY (he/him): Calvin has had a long-standing appreciation for art of all forms, never wanting to appear normal or fit into a generic category. As a kid, he and his family bonded over movies like Rocky Horror and Repo the Genetic Opera. He credits media like this for shaping him into the individual he is today, so of course, he jumped on the opportunity to be a part of it and has been performing as this production’s Riff Raff for four years. In addition to acting, Calvin has been actively creating art for thirteen years, whether commissioned drawings or poetic and macabre screenplays.
MAGENTA/TRIXIE: FIONA DE LEV (She/Her): Fiona de Lev joined The Favorite Obsessions in 2017 as a Transylvanian, then after one heck of a cat fight, clawed her way to the role of Magenta in 2018. Her lifelong love for Rocky Horror has been fully realized in this amazing group of freaks. She has been titillating audiences in the burlesque world since 2019, singing and stripping all over town with her quirky yet sexy acts. You can catch her at Sidewinder's, JUNO Brewery, The Black Cat Cultural Center, and The Soch regularly. This fun-sized snack of a woman loves to roar, and you will be left begging for more!
COLUMBIA: ABIGAIL EWERS (She/Her): Abigail Ewers joined the cast in 2022. A recent graduate of Sandia High School, she is excited to be playing Columbia for another year. Abigail has always had a passion for the performing arts, especially for choir and theater. Her enthusiasm for the stage was ignited at a young age, getting to honing her craft in high school. She loves “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” where she brings her vibrant energy and unique flair to the role of Columbia

He is a dancer with Festival Ballet, has sung with Opera Southwest, performed as a burlesque dancer, is an active social dancer, has worked as an actor in the film industry, and has probably made sexual overtures to your parents. His next project is to hide himself in your underwear drawer for use at your loneliest moments.

TRANSYLVANIAN: ELIAN STRITE (he/him): Elian loves any, and all types of musicals from Mama Mia to Sweeney Todd, but The Rocky Horror Picture Show has held a special place in his heart ever since he saw his first shadow cast performance in Santa Fe with his mom, dad, and sister. Art has been a core aspect of his life, whether painting, drawing, photography, or performance. He is so happy to have the chance to share his artistic spirit with everyone and make his supportive and loving family proud. Rocky Horror is one of his all-time favorite films and he is so excited to be a part of the show as a Transylvanian.
TRANSYLVANIAN: ERICKA SILESKY (she/her): Ericka Silesky graduated from UNM with her BA in International Business and MBA in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. She currently works in HR. TRANSYLVANIAN: ERIKA GRISWOLD (they/them): Erika is returning for her second year as a Transylvanian in this year’s 50th anniversary of Rocky Horror Picture show! A lifelong lover of singing and performing, Erika's passion was sparked by her admiration for musicals like *Rent*, *The Sound of Music*, *Chicago*, and, of course, *The Rocky Horror Picture Show*. Though she grew up as an athlete, leaving little time for artistic pursuits, she has always been captivated by the iconic vocal performances that light up Broadway stages and film screens.By day, Erika works in healthcare as a surgery scheduler, where she continues to build her career. When she's not at work, she loves spending time with her two cats, Chevy and Apollo, and cherishing moments with friends and family. She's often found baking or cooking something delicious. Erika feels honored to be part of such a beloved show and is beyond excited to share in the joy it brings to everyone!
TRANSYLVANIAN/UNDERSTUDY: CARLEIGH WEST (they/any): Originally from Wild and Wonderful West Virginia, Carleigh spent over a decade in speech and debate and dabbled a little in high school theater. They now take improv classes at the Box performance space. A longtime Rocky Horror fan, they found the show through Moundsville's Strand Theater's annual midnight showing and have been ready to time warp ever since. They're thrilled to revel in tons of sing-alongs, fishnets, and queer joy.
TRANSYLVANIAN: AMMI VAN (They/Them): Ammi is returning to acting after a five-year break to earn a double major in Psychology and Religious Studies. They began performing in musical theater at the age of eight, appearing in productions like Pippi Longstocking, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. Their gymnastics background enhanced their stage presence, leading to memorable roles such as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family and a contortionist in a P.T. Barnum-themed production. After focusing on academics, Ammi is thrilled to step back into the arts as a Transylvanian—bringing their passion for dance, song, and authentic queer expression.
