STORYLINE: After his father's demise, Charlie Price (Joel Edgerton) inherits the family business, a shoe factory in Northampton, England. He is not interested in shoes, and the factory is in such dire financial straits that he must lay off 15 employees. However a fortuitous encounter with a transvestite cabaret singer (Chiwetel Ejiofor) inspires Charlie to save the factory from closure by producing erotic footwear, much to the chagrin of the workers.

Vanessa Patricks is a seasoned performer with over 25 years of experience in singing, dancing, and acting. They began their professional career in NYC and Chicago, with notable credits including roles in Babes in Toyland at Lincoln Center and the American premiere of Jerry Springer the Opera. They have also performed in productions such as Smokey Joe's Cafe, HMS Pinafore, and Pirates of Penzance. After returning to Albuquerque, Vanessa discovered a passion for Drag and has been performing across the United States for the past 13 years. They have appeared on popular TV shows like "The Cleaning Lady" and can be seen hosting events at various venues in town, including the Electric Playhouse Drag Brunch and the Albuquerque Social Club. Vanessa has also been a prominent MC at Albuquerque Pride events and has been part of cast ensembles such as "WERK" and "Fierce Fridays." They are grateful for the opportunity to entertain audiences and share the transformative power of drag.

​Avery Martini

Avery Martini, a member of The Haus of Martini and a talented entertainer, embodies the essence of Black Girl Magic. With a background in fashion and dance, Avery has been a prominent figure in the Albuquerque Queer community for five years. Through her drag performances, she aims to highlight the power and confidence that comes with being Black and Queer. Avery is actively involved with Black Lives Matter ABQ and has co-produced the first all-black cast production, "The Chocolate Factory." She was crowned Ms. Merry Christmas 2022 and recognized as New Mexico Entertainment's Top Drag Queen and PRIDE & Equality's Model of Hope in 2023. Avery's mission is to raise awareness about issues in the Black community, support Black-owned businesses, and uplift Black entertainers.

Rainbownita Taylor, a vibrant member of the Haus of Taylor, is a force to be reckoned with at just 20 years old. Graduating from Sandia High School as the only foster kid to successfully transition out of the system in all of New Mexico in 2023, Rainbownita's resilience and determination shine through. Crowned Miss Homecoming 2023, she continues to make her mark as she pursues her cosmetology license at CNM. With a passion for beauty and creativity, Rainbownita is on a path to conquer the world of cosmetology in New Mexico with her unique flair and unwavering spirit.
