THE FINAL WORD: Keep Choosing Hope

As we close this issue of PRIDE & Equality Magazine, I want to leave you with something simple: hope is not passive. Hope is something we create.

We create it when we show up for one another. When we choose connection instead of isolation, curiosity instead of judgment, and compassion instead of fear. We create it when we support the businesses, artists, organizations, and community leaders who strengthen our communities.

This issue has reminded us of the power of stories. Every person featured in these pages represents a different journey, perspective, or experience, but together they tell a larger story about who we are. We are creative. We are resilient. We are complicated, courageous, joyful, and evolving.

There will always be challenges. But those moments do not define us. What defines us is what we do next.

As you turn the final page, I hope you carry that spirit with you. Take pride in who you are. Celebrate the people who make your life brighter. Reach out to someone who may need a reminder that they are not alone. Be the person who makes someone else feel seen, welcomed, and valued.
